The Good Food Collective invites the public to help with apple harvesting leading up to the October 11th Apple Day Festival.A list of available dates and times is available at goodfoodcollective.org.
There are many free fruit harvest events in the Durango area over the next four weeks. Sign up for the dates that interest you, and we'll follow up with details about what to bring, and the event location.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.

Baby Time is tailored for babies from birth-12 months together with their favorite adult! Enjoy 15-20 minutes of early literacy activities followed by a playgroup. We sing songs, bounce to action rhymes, and share stories, providing a rich environment for babies to hear language and interact with others.
Durango resident, Doris Allen, will have her debut art exhibit at Turquoise Raven Art Gallery in Cortez, CO. The exhibit will start Friday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 31st. "Casas del Alma' is a collection of collage, mixed media and non-representational art. Doris' Colombian roots influence her work as well as her background in architecture and design. Vivid colors and impeccable design shine through all of her art.
This is a continuation of our 2024 D&D group. New members are welcome, and no experience is necessary, but know that you need to set up a character before you can join the campaign. Please reach out at kelly@prlibrary.org to schedule a time for that!
The Stroll of the Three Sisters Tour takes visitors along the Mesa Village Trail where they will learn about an agricultural village and the crops and other foods grown and gathered there.

The Community Foundation for Southwest Colorado presents two Financial Literacy workshops designed specifically for nonprofits: Earned Revenue and Scenario Planning takes place from 2 until 5 on Thursday, October 2nd.Scenario Planning takes place on Friday, October 3rd from 10 until 1.Both events are at the Durango TBK Bank.
