The Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County will host the "Building Great Futures Luncheon," at 11:30 on Wednesday, May 13th. RSVP is at fundraising@bgclaplata.org.

Each year, the Club serves more than 1,700 local children and teens through afterschool and summer programs, provided year-round, supporting academic success, building leadership and life skills, and preparing young people for the workforce and beyond.

The Pine River Library invites the public to their monthly "Bookmarks" Book Discussion group on the second Wednesday of each month at 2PM. The April selection is: "The Book of Hope" by Jane Goodall and in May: "One of Us is Lying," by Karen McManus. Details are at prlibrary.org.
