The April "Cinematheque: Saturday at the Movies" screening is a Cary Grant Double Feature Day. The event takes place atthe Connie Gotsch Theatre, at San Juan College in Farmington at 2PM on Saturday, April 11th.

The 30th annual Durango Bluegrass Meltdown takes place from April 10th through 12th, featuring national, regional, and local bluegrass music across five downtown venues, including the Durango Arts Center, Animas City Theatre, and Wild Horse Saloon.
In addition to ticketed concerts, the weekend features several free public events, including a Friday Welcome Concert, Friday Contra Dance, Band Contest, Saturday Night Barn Dance, and late-night shows.

During the Read-a-Thon, volunteer readers sit and read in the front window of Maria’s Bookshop to raise money for the Literary Foundation’s Reading Room.
