Handcrafted trivia? That's right! Each round, each game is crafted for our audience each month with special attention paid to questions that reference our region. Take a ride on the “Midnight Train to Georgia” over “River Deep, Mountain High” while award-winning vocalist CeCe Teneal delivers.
Celebrating chart-topping music from artists like Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and more, featuring hits from the Disco Era to Broadway to Pop.

An award-winning songstress in her own right, Ms. Teneal has been nominated for four Independent Music Awards and claimed the title for 2011 Best Gospel Song and 2011 Best R&B Album, as well as 2018 Best Soul/Funk/Fusion Song.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

Join us for an hour of conversation en español at the library the fourth Thursday of each month. Come practice your Spanish in an informal setting. All ages and language levels welcome!

The Pine River Library visits the Pine River Senior Center on the fourth Friday of every month. Enjoy books and DVDs available for check out, delivered to you with an extended loan period (4 weeks, rather than the standard 1-3 weeks) each month.

The 2026 Durango Wine Experience takes place April 24th and 25th at multiple locations.
Featuring hundreds of wines, beers, spirits, and mocktails from Colorado and beyond.

This event also presents the Durango Restaurant Showcase, where top local chefs serve dishes crafted to pair perfectly with every pour.

April 24 kicks off with the Friday Walkabout in Downtown Durango. Wander between Main Ave. and 2nd Ave. to enjoy tastings at 10 local businesses, including galleries, boutiques, chocolate shops, and more.

April 25 features the Grand Tasting in Buckley Park, the ultimate celebration of wine, beer, spirits, mocktails, and amazing food—all in the heart of Downtown Durango.

Friday afternoons are all about having fun building, playing, exploring, and creating together! 1st Friday of the month: STEM, 2nd & 4th Friday: LEGO, 3rd Friday: Art. If there's a 5th Friday, we'll let you know what it will be! Great for ages 5-12 and families!
