HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.

West Coast Swing is a partner dance that can be danced to a wide variety of music. Our 6 Week Basics of West Coast Swing Class begin August 25th.

Repair Café Ignacio is an initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Repair Cafés takes place at the Ignacio Community Library at 6pm on the first Thursday of each month. Residents of Ignacio can bring their broken items in to fix them on the spot. Volunteers are needed to help out and more information is at ignaciolibrary.org.

Each month a member of the group will bring an article for discussion.
Participants also have the option to bring two pages of their own writing to read aloud, but it’s not required. If you’d like to read your own writing, please bring it in manuscript format.

The Community Foundation serving SW Colorado will host weekly Human Resource Power Hours, to cover everything nonprofits need to know to update and optimize their HR practices to meet the latest requirements.The Zoom meetings take place at noon on Tuesdays from September 9th through October 14th.swcommunityfoundation.org has details and registration.
The cost is $10/session or $50 for all 6. Attendees will be entered to win free HR services worth $500.
topics include employment law, successful onboarding, preventing conflict in the workplace, required HR policies, staff contracts, and building a culture of feedback.
Health Without Barriers is a FREE 6-week family wellness program for families with teens ages 11 to 19. This program meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:45 PM, from September 9th through October 15th, at the Pine River Senior Center in Bayfield.
Program components include:Interactive health and wellness education for familiesHands-on cooking and nutrition classes (groceries provided to take home!)Physical activity sessions for teens and siblingsStress management and mindfulness trainingFamily support education for parents
The ENTIRE family is welcome - siblings of all ages can participate, and dinner is provided at every session. This is a collaborative program between Colorado State University Extension and CSU's Department of Human Development and Family Studies.
