The iAM MUSIC FEST returns to Durango from Thursday through Sunday - (May 2 - 5) for a weekend of independent music, artists, and community, featuring 6 stages and 25 musical acts, including Stillhouse Junkies, Mojo Birds, Ora, Loki Moon and many others. The CARE Program is a FREE income-qualified energy efficiency program for homeowners and renters in Archuleta and La Plata Counties. Participants receive a free energy audit for their home and free efficiency upgrades such as insulation, air sealing measures and efficient lighting. All kids can pick up a free snack pack at the Library Park from Pine River Shares every Tuesday from June 6-August 8 (except July 4).

Manna Soup Kitchen will host a Garden Plant Sale on Friday, May 10th from 3 to 6PM and continuing over Mother's Day weekend, featuring a wide variety of veggies, herbs, and flowers.
Please support Manna's effort to grow more fresh, nutrient dense, and culturally important vegetables for our community. The event will begin on Friday May 10th at 3 PM - 6 PM, then resume on Saturday May 11th from 9 AM - 4PM and Sunday May 12th from 9AM-12PM. On Friday May 10th there will also be small batch shrubs for sale from Sipping Sunbird.
The Durango Adaptive Sports Association will host a Participant Open House from 4 to 6PM on Friday, May 10th. Refreshments will be served and no RSVP is necessary. Asadurango.com has more information.

Build Pagosa’s 6th Annual Auction and Dinner takes place at the Ross Aragon Community Center at 5PM on Friday, May 10th. The event will feature a Bar B Q buffet dinner and drinks, live music, plus a silent and live auction. Tickets will be available at the door and details are at buildpagosa.org.Proceeds support Career and Technical Education programs at Pagosa Springs High School and the future Regional Workforce Center.
Current Pagosa Springs Career and Technical Education students will be showing off their skills at this fun Build Pagosa event with : Delicious food by Chef Todd Stevens’ PSHS Culinary Arts Program ,live entertainment by Bob Hemenger’s Americana Class, Health Occupation Students of America will be providing blood pressure and oxygen testing, building trades and woodworking students will have garden sheds, birdhouses, and more to be auctioned off. Metal fabrication students and auto mechanics students will have utility trailers and mini-bikes for auctions as well.

Create Art & Tea hosts a fundraiser for La Plata County Humane Society from 1 until 3 on Mothers Day - Sunday, May 12th. The event features high tea, lunch, desserts, crafts and adoptable kittens. Limited tickets are available and RSVP is due by Sunday, May 5th.
