The Stampede Trail Run annual fundraiser for Durango Public Schools takes place at 9AM on Saturday, April 27th at the Horse Gulch Trailhead.Participants may choose from a 10 mile, 10k, 5k, and 1 mile fun run.
This year, all proceeds will go to the Park Elementary PTO.
The event also features a post race raffle, with items from many local businesses.
The Durango Devo 15th Annual Bike Swap takes place on Saturday, April 27th at the Chapman Hill Ice Rink. Bike and gear drop-off takes place on Friday. Durangodevo.com has all the details. All proceeds support their all-ages, team-based mountain biking programs, camps, and scholarships.

The "Brews for Rescues" Beer Fest takes place at the Pagosa Town Park from noon until 5 on Saturday, April 27th. The event is a family and dog friendly festival that supports Rugby's Rescue House and features an unlimited beer tasting, live music, games, vendors and more. Details are at pagosafun.com.
There will be up to 21 breweries and distributors such as Carver Brewing Co, Riff Raff Brewing Co, Ska, New Belgium, Marble and many more.The unlimited beer tasting is from Noon -5pm and only costs $25.

All kids can pick up a free snack pack at the Library Park from Pine River Shares every Tuesday from June 6-August 8 (except July 4).
Durango residents are invited learn about and provide feedback on the interior conceptual design for the new Police Department/City Hall project. the event takes place at the Public Library at 5:30 on Tuesday, April 30th. Refreshments, childcare and Spanish interpretation will be provided.

Manna Soup Kitchen will host a bear spray demonstration at 11AM on Thursday, May 2nd, led by BearSmart Durango. Experts from the City of Durango and Colorado Parks and Wildlife will provide information about camping and recreating safely in bear country.
This event will be free and open to anyone interested!
