The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly: The Trials and Tribulations of an "Indiana Jones" of Global Plant Hunting

Durango Botanic Gardens presents "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly: The Trials and Tribulations of an "Indiana Jones" of Global Plant Hunting." The talk takes place at 1:30 on Saturday, June 8th at the Durango Public Library. This is a Member Appreciate Event and is FREE to all Durango Botanic Gardens members. Bill McNamara is executive director of the Quarryhill Botanic Garden, a 25-acre wild woodland garden in Northern California's Sonoma Valley featuring wild-sourced plants from temperate East Asia. Mr. McNamara will show and discuss some of the plants often threatened by extinction - from his extensive travels.

$20 for non-members.
