Pine River Shares will host a Seed Saving Workshop from 9AM to 3PM on Saturday, July 22nd. Lunch will be provided. Details and registration are available at 970-884-6040 and at pinerivershares.org.

The hands-on workshop, presented by Seeds in Common representative, Gretchen Groenke, local food grower and herbalist, is geared toward those new to seed saving and also those with more experience. Gretchen will also explore with participants how to grow plants that thrive in specific climates and soils.

Participants should come ready be outside.

Seed saving workshop is presented as part of the Field to Fork Plan, established and implemented to rebuild a resilient food system in the Pine River Valley.
