Journaling in Pastel and Ink,

Jan Heyl is exhibiting her paintings at the Gallery at St Barnabas Church, 110 West North Street in Cortez through Mid-January. Office Hours are 9 -12 Monday through Thursday for drop in visits.

A reception for the artist will be December 8 from 4 to 6 pm. Additional artwork will be available for viewing during the reception. Light refreshments will be served.

From the artist: “Painting scenes from our local landscape and from travels is my favorite way of experiencing my environment and making a visual “journal”. Using a variety of pastel and Ink techniques gives another level to this exploration. “
