FIlm screening: Journey Down the Gila

FIlm screening: Journey Down the Gila

The public is invited to a screening of "Journey Down the Gila," a film that captures the story of three teens who lost their lives in service to the wild. The film follows their mothers’ emotional voyage down the river — and the ongoing effort to keep the Gila free-flowing. The event takes place at the Durango Arts Center at 6:30 on Thursday, December 4th. Details and tickets are at durangoarts.org.

After the film, stay for a brief update on current Gila Wild & Scenic federal protections and learn how you can support efforts to keep New Mexico’s last free-flowing river wild.

The film is not available online or for purchase, so don't miss this opportunity to experience it on the big screen!
