The Durango School District will host a Career Fair - with multiple positions available - from 9 until 2 on Thursday, October 9th at 281 Sawyer Drive, Suite 100, in Bodo Park.Durango.schoolspring.com has more information.
Open positions include teachers, behavioral health providers, classroom assistants, bus drivers, administrative assistants, custodians, security staff, substitutes, coaches, and more.
Both full- and part-time roles are available. Employees working at least 24 hours per week are eligible for full benefits.
The Gathering of Warriors is presented by the Diné Naazbaa Partnership and Firebase Committee. Over the course of this multi-day event, we will host a standdown offering vital resources, connections to VA benefits, meaningful information, and heartfelt appreciation—fostering camaraderie, healing, and support within a traditional grassroots environment. This will be a space for warriors to gather to build bonds and feel at ease, while bringing outside agencies together to recognize where our warriors come from. Welcome to veterans and their families from all nations, all branches, and all eras! This event is free to attend, but each attendee must register. Registration ends October 2, 2025.
In this informal, free meetup we create awareness and harmony between the mind and body that allows us to remove stress and anxiety. We use our breath to move deeper into our body while warming, lengthening, and strengthening our muscles.
All you need is a yoga mat and a water bottle. Some yoga tools such as blocks, a blanket and a strap are encouraged.

This workshop is dedicated to creating social media campaigns for Southwest Colorado Gives Day. Swcommunityfoundation.org has more information.
By the end of the 2.5-hour session, attendees will have 5 social media posts scheduled from Early Giving on November 1 to Gives Day on December 9.
Nonprofits should come to prepared to create and complete their most essential social media posts for this online giving event.
The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.
