Grand Prize Day is Here!

KSUT wraps up the Spring Membership Drive with great programming and a final chance for you to be eligible to win our Grand Prize, a trip for two to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. All you have to do is support KSUT.

KSUT has reached the final day of our Spring Membership Drive. You have just a few hours left to put yourself in the running for a trip to one of the world's finest music festivals: New Orleans Jazz & Heritage.

Make yourself eligible now. Pledge to KSUT at our secure website (click here), or call 970-563-0255 or 1-800-569-5788.

This year's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival features an eclectic bill: Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello and the Imposters and hundreds of others. But there's also lots of fun to be had throughout the festival...

You could be in the crowd, just for supporting KSUT.

We'll fly you to and from New Orleans, put you up at the Prince Conti Hotel in the French Quarter for four nights, and give you a pair of three-day festival passes.

Pledge now at our secure website (click here), or call 970-563-0255 or 1-800-569-5788, and listen for your name on-air just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Morning Prize (drawing at around 11:55 today): A pair of VIP passes to our 40th Anniversary Concert with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Saturday August 6 at Three Springs.

Programming: KSUT kicks off the final day of our drive with a special edition of San Juan Sunrise. Later, we present special Membership Drive editions of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me!, The Best of Car Talk, This American Life, Snap Judgment, American Routes, and A Prairie Home Companion.

Today's on-air guests: Mike Freeburn, local educator and principal of Southwest E-school (during Weekend Edition), and Sheryl McGourty of Yoga Durango.

Thank you to today's Food Sponsor: Roots Natural Foods.

A big thanks to Durango Coffee Company for the coffee that keeps us fueled during the drive!

And we thank our dedicated phone volunteers. Manning the Saturday shift is Pete Nast, Jennifer Burck, Tim Wright, Kate Burke, Buz Bricca, Nym Mendias, Marikay Shellman, Keith Bender, Annie Sullivan, and Kim Wilkins.
