Rhonda Muckerman is the author of a new book called "Of Song and Water: A Journey to Hope and Healing Conducted Through Music and Nature".

At the intersection of music and nature lies healing.

Rhonda Muckerman of Durango explored both in the wake of personal tragedy. She's the author of a new book called Of Song and Water: A Journey to Hope and Healing Conducted Through Music and Nature. She's also known to some in the Four Corners as the Director of Southwest Civic Winds.

Muckerman spoke to Tami Graham recently for this KSUT Conversation. They talked about the creative process of healing. And about Southwest Civic Winds’ upcoming performance in Santa Fe.

Tami is the Executive Director of KSUT Public Radio. She is a fifth-generation Coloradoan and has lived in Southwest Colorado since 1984.
