Learn about Loving Kindness (Metta) practice and how we can apply this age-old philosophy to our creative and personal lives. Participants will discover resonating Metta phrases and create artwork to support their meaning. Our art-making will be very free-form, abstract if desired, and otherwise more on the relaxed, “doodling” end of the spectrum. Whatever supports a non-judgmental and open mind!
All supplies will be provided (paper, markers, colored pencils, collaging materials). However, if you want to bring any of your own supplies feel free to do so such as, watercolors, mark-making tools and collaging materials.

The San Juan Symphony Family Concert - "Lemony Snicket: The Composer is Dead" takes place at the Henderson Fine Arts Center in Farmington at 2PM on Sunday, May 19th. The event starts at 1PM, with a kids instrument petting zoo.
Kids of all ages are invited to attend. Maestro Heuser and the full orchestra will be there, and story by Lemony Snicket will have everyone entertained and enchanted.Reserved Seating $5 for all individuals (including children).

The Tribal Water Media Fellowship will host a free public screening of the feature documentary "Demon Mineral" on Sunday, May 19th from 6 to 8PM.The event takes place in the Vallecito Room at Fort Lewis College and will feature a Q&A session with the director and cinematographer.

HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
