Celebrate your unique brand! Hosted by the West Slope Startup Week Comms Track Captain, Maryrose Ewing, you'll clarify your personal brand in 3 words and wear it proudly on your own personally crafted hat. Part crafting, part personal brand, all fun.
The activity is Own Your Brand: 3 Words, 1 Hat, Endless Possibilities. Discover brand archetypes, swap ideas, and have fun getting to know each other and what makes everyone unique.

West Slope Startup Week is a 5-day conference taking place Oct 6-10th, 2025 in Durango. We pull in entrepreneurs from all over the Western Slope. These social gatherings will be monthly leading up to the event. It's a great opportunity to network, ask questions about WSSW, and get involved.
Community Narcotics Anonymous meetings take place at the Big Mountain Realty Building in Pagosa Springs every Wednesday at 6pm.
Author Christopher Barns will discuss and sign his new book, "Mesa Verde's Secret Garden: A History of Managing the Backcountry and Wilderness of a National Park." Barns retired from the Arthur Carhart National Wilderness Training Center in 2015. He was the lead author of the Bureau of Land Management’s 2012 Wilderness and Wilderness Study Area policies as well as a coauthor of many reports and law journal articles on Wilderness management. In addition, he wrote and directed the film American Values: American Wilderness for PBS. He has volunteered in Mesa Verde National Park since 2017.
Mary Quinn will be introducing; Solo Performance Workshop. In this class you will learn the art of the classic clown, creating characters and finding their voice through improv. This is a beginner’s course and all are welcome!
