The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

The Durango Arts Repertory Theater is seeking original submissions for the 16th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival. This year’s theme is, “The State We Are In,” celebrating major anniversaries for Colorado and the United States. The Community Foundation serving SW Colorado will host weekly Human Resource Power Hours, to cover everything nonprofits need to know to update and optimize their HR practices to meet the latest requirements.The Zoom meetings take place at noon on Tuesdays from September 9th through October 14th.swcommunityfoundation.org has details and registration.

The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit Leonard Davies: The Joys of Painting as a Pastime January 9 - February 28, 2026 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Davies retired from a distinguished career as a civil rights attorney, and began oil painting at the age of 70. His show features southwest landscapes, and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 pm, Friday, January 9.
