The Durango Open Studio Tour kicks off from 5 to 7 on Friday, October 17th at 1135 Main Avenue.The Tour takes place at artist studiosthroughout Durango from 10 to 4 on Saturday and Sunday. A digital map and details are at durangoopenstudiotour.com.
This free self-guided tour of localartist studios is an opportunity to connect with artists on a different level.
The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Most of the works are for sale. Gallery hours are Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Information can be found at www.durangoarts.org

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Join Mesa Verde National Park rangers on a tour of Yucca House National Monument. The trail is rocky in places; wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots and long pants. Total tour time, including carpooling to site, is 3 hours. Yucca House National Monument is located eight miles south of Cortez, Colorado. You will meet at the Colorado Welcome Center in Cortez for a brief orientation talk, then carpool to the site. Call 970-529-5037 to register.
