No rules, just writing!
Each month a member of the group will bring an article for discussion.
Participants also have the option to bring two pages of their own writing to read aloud, but it’s not required. If you’d like to read your own writing, please bring it in manuscript format.
The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Most of the works are for sale. Gallery hours are Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Information can be found at www.durangoarts.org

The Good Food Collective and Durango Tool Library have teamed up to help with local fruit harvesting, to reduce human-bear conflict, eliminate food waste, and directly address food security.More information is at goodfoodcollective.org.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Registration is open for West Slope Startup Week, celebrating rural entrepreneurs and taking place from October 6th through 10th in downtown Durango. The events are free, but registration is required. More information is at startupcolorado.org.
