The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

Pine River Shares provides FREE food distribution on the second Saturday of each month from 11 until noon at the ELHI Community Center in Ignacio.

Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.

Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.

Bring your family, your friends, your other neighbors, your chair, your pet, your favorite sign or borrow one of ours. Let’s make some noise!

Bring your right, AND your left brain for this one! A night of obscure trivia by the one, the only, ALICE!!! Prizes for highest AND lowest scores!

Free music every Thursday at Uncle’s Bar and Social Club. Pagosa’s newest bar and best local gathering place. House band Connie the Soldier and musicians welcome for an open jam. Folk, Americana, and Celtic music.

The Durango contradance series continues. Saturday January 17th, 2026. Deb Comly is the caller, live music provided by the Fractal String Band. Lessons at 7:30, dance starts at 8pm. All ages welcome. Donation sliding scale $10-$20. No partner required.

On the 15th of every month at 3pm, we host a live virtual tour on Zoom to learn about Heartwood, see our beautiful little slice of paradise, meet community members, and have your questions answered – all without having to actually make a trip to Heartwood.
