The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show has issued a Call For Volunteers.
The event takes place at La Plata County Fairgrounds from July 11th through the 13th.

This event relies on local volunteers to make it happen. Volunteering for at least 1 shift will grant you free access to the show for all three days.

We serve only the LOCAL districts including Dove Creek, Montezuma-Cortez, Mancos, Dolores, Durango, Silverton, Bayfield, Ignacio, and Archuleta. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

The Chimney Rock Interpretive Association will host daily guided Great House Tours at 10:30 from Thursday, May 15th through Saturday, May 31st.

The tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.

This is a continuation of our 2024 D&D group. New members welcome and no experience necessary, but know that you need to set up a character before you can join the campaign. Please reach out at becky@prlibrary.org to schedule a time for that!

Baby Time is tailored for babies from birth-12 months together with their favorite adult! Enjoy 15-20 minutes of early literacy activities followed by a playgroup. We sing songs, bounce to action rhymes, and share stories, providing a rich environment for babies to hear language and interact with others.
