Thanks to generous members like you, 2018 was an incredible and historic year for KSUT. You helped us meet our $1 million match from the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, and construction on our new home will begin soon.
In any capital campaign, an organization must still raise money for its operations. Our annual budget is approximately $1 million, and programming and operational costs continue to rise. We expected a drop in operational support while raising money for our new building, and we certainly saw one.
One way to ensure KSUT receives the operational support it needs is to become a sustaining member. More than 1,100 of your fellow KSUT listeners have already done so, which provides nearly $14,000 in general operational support each month. This has allowed us to shorten on-air drives, with our upcoming spring drive being just 6 days long. You designate the amount, and we’ll automatically charge your credit card or checking account each month, and you’ll never have to renew your membership. Thank you for considering a sustaining membership at $10, $15, $20 or more per month.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival celebrates 50 Years of Joy this Spring. Our JazzFest grand prize is a 21 year tradition of the KSUT membership drive. Renew now online, or mail in for automatic entry.
