The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show has issued a Call For Volunteers.
The event takes place at La Plata County Fairgrounds from July 11th through the 13th.

This event relies on local volunteers to make it happen. Volunteering for at least 1 shift will grant you free access to the show for all three days.

The Chimney Rock National Monument "Through the Ages" Tour explores the natural and cultural history of the area through geologic time and incorporates the anthropology and archeology of the Puebloan people.
Tours take place at 8AM on Saturday: June 14, 21, 28

The Bayfield Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays from 8 until noon - and on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 - at 1328 County Road 501, through October 25th.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Community Family Yoga

La Plata Quilters Guild Festival Quilt Show takes place on Saturday and Sunday at La Plata County Fairgrounds. Events include a silent auction, raffles and more. Children under 12 receive free admission.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.
