THE BADLY BENT The Badly Bent has been entrenched in the bluegrass music scene since 1998. Based in Durango, Colorado, The Badly Bent has proven its musicianship through the winning of prestigious music competitions and receiving accolades from many of its peers in the bluegrass industry. Winners of the coveted 2005 Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition, The Badly Bent has performed at over 100 festivals across the US and has been acknowledged as one of the most entertaining ensembles at those festivals.
ANIMAS ROOTSAnimas Roots is an adult student band at Stillwater Music. Focused on bluegrass and folk styles, Animas Roots brings a modern flair to traditional favorites with an emphasis on harmony singing and improvisation.
The Durango Arts Center will host performances of the Rocky Horror Show from October 24th through November 1st.Details and tickets are at durangoarts.org.
Featuring a cast of local talent and reserved seating VIP tables. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door Tuesdays – Saturdays from noon – 6p.m. The show has mature content appropriate for ages 18 and over.

The Bayfield Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays from 8 until noon - and on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 - at 1328 County Road 501, through October 25th.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! The Durango Arts Center presents “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Most of the works are for sale. Gallery hours are Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Details are at www.durangoarts.org
