Wee Read and Move Toddler Story Time at Fort Lewis Mesa Library

These FREE classes offer a safe and supportive environment for anyone exploring how to navigate addictive tendencies, those who are "sober curious," or individuals in recovery from addiction. We aim to enhance overall well-being and quality of life, regardless of where you are on your journey.

During these classes, you will be offered:

Compassionate discussion on the deeper causes and patterns of addictive habits.
Gentle, body-centered movement, breathwork, and meditation practices to support self-regulation and inner peace.
Practical tools to be used in everyday life that will empower you on your path of healing and self-discovery.
Classes are open to anyone seeking to address their addictive habits or explore a sober-curious lifestyle, whether you are relatively new to the paths of yoga and recovery, or have extensive experience in both.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.

Drop in to connect with other families/caregivers and foster a playful environment for preschool aged kids.

Coffee, tea, healthy snacks and a play space are provided.

The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

The Community Foundation serving SW Colorado will host weekly Human Resource Power Hours, to cover everything nonprofits need to know to update and optimize their HR practices to meet the latest requirements.
The Zoom meetings take place at noon on Tuesdays from September 9th through October 14th.

Pine River Library is one of many groups in 79 countries across the world that host Death Cafés. A Death Café is a time and place where people come to share food, drink tea or coffee, and discuss death openly and honestly. The aim is to increase awareness about death in order to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. There is never an intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product or course of action. A Death Café is not a bereavement support or grief counseling setting, nor is it a place to give people information about death and dying. It is not for people who, for whatever reason, are unwilling to discuss the subject of death comfortably and openly.

These gatherings are facilitated by Lola Montano, a certified Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse and Death Doula. Join us every third Tuesday of the month from 1-2:30 pm.
