The Durango Arts Center presents “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. So naturally, we wanted to make one for you to come experience in our one-of-a-kind Subterrain space. Fans of escape rooms will love this…especially the fans who wish they could enjoy a libation - alcoholic or non - while hunting for clues and trying to beat the clock!

Durango resident, Doris Allen, will have her debut art exhibit at Turquoise Raven Art Gallery in Cortez, CO. The exhibit will start Friday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 31st. "Casas del Alma' is a collection of collage, mixed media and non-representational art. Doris' Colombian roots influence her work as well as her background in architecture and design. Vivid colors and impeccable design shine through all of her art.

The Alpine Bank Youth Photography Showcase is open to all middle and high school students in La Plata County, offering a chance to exhibit their talent in a professional setting. Details are at at PhotoShowdown.org.

Each chosen student will receive two complimentary tickets to attend the main event on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Fort Lewis College.
