Pine River Library Children's Area

Drop in to connect with other families/caregivers and foster a playful environment for preschool aged kids.

Coffee, tea, healthy snacks and a play space are provided.

Kids, families, and caregivers, join us for special activities each week! Unleash your creativity: tie-dye, paint, and create!

NOTE: Open to all but younger children will need assistance with the projects. This is a drop-in event and participants may come and go as they please - no registration required. Interested teens are also welcome to come.

This program will be held in the library park, weather permitting.

Build, create, and imagine at LEGO Club!

Join us for LEGO Club, a space for kids ages 5–12 who love to build, tinker, sort, and imagine! Using the library’s LEGO collection, design your own creations, take on building challenges, or collaborate with friends on bigger projects.

No registration required. Just drop in and start building!

The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

All kids can pick up a free snack pack in the library. This program is sponsored by local churches, the Town of Bayfield, Pine River Shares, and the Friends of the Library. It is hosted by Bayfield students!

Join us and try a new activity each week discovering new hobbies and passions! Themes will vary, but may include activities such as games, out of the ordinary art forms, cultural experiences, movement, cooking, writing challenges, and book-centric activities.

Want to make a fun space for you and your friends? Join the Teen Advisory Group! Help the library meet your needs and interests, gain valuable experience, meet new friends, and hang out!

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is the spot for teens 13-17 to share their ideas and help shape exciting library events, all while giving guidance to our library staff. With plenty of snacks and fun on the agenda, it's a great way to spend your time—and you could even earn those required 9R Community Service hours, too. Curious if TAG's right for you?
