The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show has issued a Call For Volunteers.
The event takes place at La Plata County Fairgrounds from July 11th through the 13th.

This event relies on local volunteers to make it happen. Volunteering for at least 1 shift will grant you free access to the show for all three days.

Create Art and Tea is now hosting First Friday. First Friday is an effort to bring art and charitable foundations together. On the First Friday of every month, Create Art and Tea will host an art opening featuring new artists. Featured artists will choose a charity to support. A portion of the proceeds made from purchased art will go to the organization of choice. On opening night, you can expect light refreshments, live musical performances, the opportunity to meet the artists, and hear about the charitable organizations. The works for sale will remain in the loft area of the gallery for the remaining duration of each month. Blue Rain Gallery Durango proudly presents Continuum, an exhibition celebrating the powerful convergence of tradition and innovation in contemporary Native glass. Following May’s spotlight on contemporary Native American painters, this month we turn our attention to the groundbreaking work of Indigenous glass artists. Join us Friday, June 6th from 5-7pm for the opening of this exhibition in conjunction with Durango First Friday.

The ELHI Community Center in Ignacio will host a weekly Community Block Party from 5 to 7 every Friday from June 6th through October 13th.
