Birding at Chimney Rock

The public is invited to birding sessions at Chimney Rock National Monument. The 2-hour bird-walks will be led by a guide from the Weminuche Audubon Society. Birders of all skill levels are welcome to participate. The sessions take place at 7:45AM every 2 weeks ,starting on
Saturday, August 19th.

Tickets are available at recreation.gov.

Participants will be walking slowly on uneven terrain in the lower area of CRNM (no archaeological sites are included on this tour). Good walking shoes are advised, along with plenty of water and sun protection. Bring binoculars if you have them. Not recommended for young children.
