In 2026, Colorado will celebrate the 250 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood. And the planning begins now! Meet Katie Roach from History Colorado this Thursday, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall to discuss plans for local and state involvement. Anyone interested in learning more or participating in the planning is welcome to attend.
