Water Connections - A Community by Conversation Event. FLC Water Week 2025 Kickoff!

The Fort Lewis College Water Week kicks off with "Water Connections: A Community by Conversation" event, from 5 to 8PM on Thursday, November 6th in the Student Union Ballroom.
Refreshments will be provided. Details and registration are at swwcd.org.

Are you concerned about water, fire, and climate resilience in our community? Do you wish you could discuss these topics with local leaders and community members? Attend Water Connections 2025 to discuss our region's climate and water challenges, make your voice heard, and learn about how climate resilience looks different to each of us. Presenters: Aaron Kimple (Ecological Restoration Institute, Northern Arizona University), Daryl Vigil (Jicarilla Apache Nation, Water and Tribes Initiative), Marsha Porter-Norton (La Plata County Commissioner), and Gerald Koppenhafer (Montezuma County Commissioner).

Free and open to the public. Refreshments provided.
