Stories Over Stimga

The Durango Public Library will host "Stories Over Stigma," a project designed to deepen understanding of substance use and the many personal, social, and systemic factors that contribute to it. The event takes place at 6PM on Friday, March 20th.

The project explores how stigma affects individuals who use substances, and their ability to access support and services. It also provides practical resources and tools to help community members, professionals, and caregivers care for their own well-being while supporting individuals who use substances.

The purpose of this event is to increase knowledge, encourage critical reflection on personal stigma, and promote more compassionate, informed perspectives on substance use. register for Stories Over Stigma sponsored by La Plata County Public Health Department Harm Reduction Program.
