SJMA's "Christmas Trees for Conservation" tree lot
SJMA's "Christmas Trees for Conservation" tree lot
The San Juan Mountains Association’s "Christmas Trees for Conservation" lot will run from Friday, (11/24) through December 15th at the Durango & Silverton Railroad Parking lot - at the corner of College & Camino Del Rio. The lot will feature locally cut white fir along with Wisconsin Balsam Fir.
"Christmas Trees for Conservation" is SJMA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting our education and stewardship efforts throughout the entire San Juan Mountain region. This event is a great community event, and brings together volunteers and customers as we celebrate the holidays. Volunteers donate hundreds of hours to help cut trees, set up the lot, and sell the trees.
Once again, SJMA will have a pop-up-shop alongside the tree sales on the weekends, and we will have some special guests with us on Noel Night (December 1st). We will have some fun stocking stuffers and gifts for everyone in the family. The tree lot remains open until we sell out, which is usually before December 15th.
Shop local and support stewardship and conservation education on Southwest Colorado’s public lands!
