Light and shadow, color and flow, depth, and negative space are all elements in Leigh Waggoner’s mosaics which are currently on display at the gallery at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Cortez. Using Murano glass (smalti), travertine, marble and other stone, and recycled objects, Waggoner creates fine, contemporary wall art which is often described as unique. The display will be showing through April 7 with an artist’s reception Feb. 7, Light refreshments will be served.
