Human Powered Potential "Meet & Greet Event at 11th Street Station

The 11th Street Station will host a "Human Powered Potential Meet & Greet Event” on Friday, May 3rd from 4 to 9 pm - featuring the team who are rowing 2,800 miles from California to Hawaii to raise money and awareness for the cure and treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. The event will include a Q & A session and photo opportunities.

All four members of Team Human Powered Potential, Brendan Cusick, Patrick Morrissey, Scott Forman and Peter Durso, will be in attendance at 11th Street Station speaking about this incredible self-supported mission where they row 24 hours a day – in intervals of two hours, for approximately 30-40 days. Team Human Powered Potential's goal is to raise $28M for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Thanks to an anonymous donor, all funds raised will be matched three to one.

Friday's Meet & Greet event at 11th Street Station is the kick-off for a weekend focused on Rowing To Beat Parkinson’s featuring the Boat Race Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 4th at Dalton's Ranch. The Boat Race Golf Tournament is a "scramble" format featuring teams of four with a 9 am shotgun start. 100% of the funds raised goes towards Parkinson's research.
