The Durango Public Library will host "Gnarled Roots," a Jewish magazine festival at 5:30 on Tuesday, September 5th. Registration is required.

explore the relationship between diasporic identity and what it means to live on stolen land. The event will be a showcase - including several examples of Jewish zines, diasporic artwork, as well as physical and digital art pieces. This event is open for everyone and anyone, either Jewish or non-Jewish. We will invite all of our guests to participate in a land acknowledgement at 5:45PM to open the space, then visitors will be able to come and go to explore the zines freely.
