The public is invited to attend a songwriting panel on Friday, March 6th from 4 to 5:30 at the Mancos Commons. The workshop is free and open to all with an interest in the craft of putting words and music together.

The panel will include Fred Kosak and Alissa Wolf from Stillhouse Junkies, Dale X Allen from Genuine Cowhide, Sunny Gable from Mean Irene, and Paul “Bubba” Iudice (Farmington Hill, a band that played Mixed in Mancos 2024). The panel will be emceed by local musician Mark Stevens (Midnight Cowboy, Flashback) who has never written one song and is mystified by the process. “The songwriting panel is a terrific opportunity to find out how songwriters produce their magic and listen to them discuss their process in an intimate setting,” said Stevens. “And it’s a great prelude to the Mixed in Mancos show Saturday evening.” Afterwards, everyone is encouraged to get a refreshment at Mancos Brewing Company.
