Exhibition Opening: Constellations of Place

The Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College will host "Constellations of Place," a major exhibition rooted in the landscapes and layered histories of Southwest Colorado.
The opening reception takes place Thursday, January 15th from 4:30 to 6:30, Featuring live music by Diné artist, Kino Benally.

Guest curated by Dr. Meranda Roberts, the exhibit will feature a selection of over 60 textiles, pottery, beadwork, 2D works, and mixed media pieces from the Center’s permanent collections alongside the work of 13 invited contemporary Native American, Indigenous, and Latin artists.

Free and open to the public through December 18th, 2026
