Valerie June Added to Lineup as Lucinda Williams Pulls Out of Four Corners Folk Festival Citing Health Reasons

We regret to announce that Lucinda Williams has canceled her performance at the 2021 Four Corners Folk Festival, citing her health in a statement from management: “Our apologies for this, but it is with deep regret that, due to non-covid related personal health reasons, Lucinda is unable to perform on September 4, 2021. We hope to return to the Four Corners Folk Festival in the future, and wish you all, the very best. Please stay safe." Williams suffered a stroke in November of 2020 and resumed touring this summer.

On a brighter note, we're thrilled to announce the addition of critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Valerie June to the festival lineup. A quickly rising star from Memphis TN, June composes a tapestry of folk, soul, gospel, country, blues, psychedelia, and time-bending symphonic pop with her spellbinding vocals. She recently released her third album The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers.
