Nashville-based Cristina Vane is on the road in support of her debut CD Nowhere Sounds Lovely, and will join host Tami Graham in KSUT's new performance studio, Wednesday at 1:30 PM.

Born in Italy to a Sicilian-American father and a Guatemalan mother, she was raised in Europe and returned to the states to study comparative literature at Princeton. Following college she moved to Los Angeles and worked at McCabe's Guitar Shop, focusing on her music, delving into country blues, old folk guitar styles, and playing the clawhammer banjo.

We've been hearing about Cristina from Nashville friends, as well as Travis Book and Town Mountain, and jumped at the chance to host her for a KSUT Session.

Cristina also performs Wednesday evening at 7 with the Six Dollar String Band at Jimmy's Music & Supply in Durango.

KSUT Sessions are sponsored by The Greenery.
