
Colten Ashley
Tribal Media Center CoordinatorColton Ashley is a Diné filmmaker originally from the Four Corners region. He studied Media Arts at Brigham Young University, emphasizing narrative filmmaking and critical media studies.
He's worked for ESPN, ABC, BYUTV, and Hallmark and been a contributor at Utah PBS. Ashley also mentored college and high school students through film production training, including the Hands on a Camera program that teaches students to create documentaries about their communities.
