A college campus in Blanding, Utah is debuting a traditional hogan for its Native American students

USU-Blanding

Builders at Utah State University’s Blanding campus have been working on a traditional Native American Hogan since May. It’s finally ready.

The structure will be used by students as a place to practice traditional ceremonies and find peace and meditation.

KZMU Radio looked at the structure’s importance for students and the community.
