During the past ten months, KSUT has continued to broaden its scope of local and regional news and information, complementing the station's national and international news from NPR and BBC. In doing so, KSUT has hired its own reporters, and actively engaged several content partners, strengthening its available reporting in the Four Corners and Rocky Mountain West.
These partnerships include:
- The Colorado News Collaborative, COLab, uniting journalists from over 100 news outlets to strengthen trustworthy, public-interest news statewide.
- Rocky Mountain Community Radio member stations, RMCR, with a current series on Fossil Fuels coverage in our region.
- Colorado Capitol Coverage and Western Water Coverage, both produced by KUNC Public Radio.
- Native Lens, a co-production of Rocky Mountain PBS and KSUT Tribal Radio.
- AP Story Share, a tool that allows over two dozen newsrooms in Colorado to share content.
- Focus 2021, a collaboration with the Durango Herald, taking a deeper dive into four topical issues facing Southwestern Colorado.
In addition to hearing stories from these sources on-air or by streaming, KSUT offers them digitally on the web. Visit and bookmark ksut.org to access, explore and listen online at your leisure.
