La Plata County Commissioner Matt Salka will hold in-person office hours from 4 to 6 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at Pine River Library in Bayfield.
Members of the public are invited to meet with Salka to discuss county issues of interest or concern.

Repair Café Ignacio is an initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Repair Cafés takes place at the Ignacio Community Library at 6pm on the first Thursday of each month. Residents of Ignacio can bring their broken items in to fix them on the spot. Volunteers are needed to help out and more information is at ignaciolibrary.org.
