for a special poetry writing workshop on the topic of "Poetry as History.” Geneva Toland
is a writer, songleader, naturalist, and educator currently working towards her MFA in
Poetry at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Her writing has appeared in Southern
Humanities Review, Camas, humana obscura, Four Corners Voices and West Trade
Review, among others. She is also a poetry editor at Terrain and Chapter House
Journal.
