Grammy and Tony-Award winning jazz legend Dee Dee Bridgewater to perform live KSUT Session, Durango Cool Jazz shows

Jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater will join KSUT for a live in-studio session, Friday, December 3, at 9 AM. She'll be accompanied by her pianist and musical director Carmen Staaf, hosted by Tami Graham, and broadcast on KSUT from Eagle Sound.

Ms. Bridgewater is a three-time Grammy Award-Winner and a Tony-Award winning stage actress. For 23 years, she was also the host of NPR's JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater which was broadcast on KSUT. She is also a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador and a global icon who has ascended to the upper echelon of jazz vocalists, putting her unique spin on standards and taking intrepid leaps of faith in re-envisioning jazz classics. Her new CD Memphis...Yes I'm Ready was released in September.
