Several Colorado mountain communities are trying to limit the growth of short term rentals--as long-running housing crunches become a full-on crisis.

Earlier this summer Steamboat Springs and Crested Butte placed temporary halts on new short term rental licenses.

A report from a recent community discussion on the proposal.
