This week Tom attended the Durango Botanic Gardens Conference in Durango.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Peter Del Tredici PhD, botanist, author, and senior research scientist Emeritus at the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University.
Most of Dr. Tredici’s career with plants was on the east coast, in fact he wrote a book titled Wild Urban Plants of the Northeast, and he had some fascinating insight into how climate change is affecting the plant activity in cities and beyond.
