The Civic Winds Jazz Orchestra will perform at the Durango High School at 7PM on Sunday, May 4th. They will perform big band classics as well as blues and funk hits. The concert will also feature “Women’s Prerogative”, an all-women barbershop vocal ensemble. Southwestcivicwinds.org has tickets and details.

The ensemble is a fifteen-piece, Ellington style jazz orchestra. They will perform hits such as Earth Wind & Fire’s “Fantasy”, Cab Calloway’s, “Minnie the Moocher”, “Eleanor Rigby”, and many more.

“Women’s Prerogative" will perform modern barbershop renditions of “Straighten Up & Fly Right”, “Go the Distance”, and more.
