Indigenous Cultural Arts Festival
Aztec Ruins National Monument will host the 2025 Indigenous Cultural Arts Festival from 10 until 4 on Saturday, September 13th. This free, family-friendly event will feature diverse artists from various Southwest nations, offering pottery, jewelry, basketry, and more.
The day will also include dancing and storytelling, along with cooking demonstrations.
The MaaTuu Dance Group of Santa Clara Pueblo, World Hoop Dance Champion JaiP’o Harvier of the Pueblo of Pojoaque, and the Next Generation Dance Group of Acoma Pueblo will perform.
Storyteller Eldrena Douma, of Hopi, Laguna, and Tewa Pueblos will share stories in the great kiva.
There will be a cooking demonstration by author of The Modern Navajo Kitchen, Alana Yazzie, of the Navajo Nation.
This event is supported by the Western National Parks Association, a nonprofit education partner of the National Park Service.
