Rocky Mountain Tops from Colorado College to perform live KSUT Session on Friday at 1:30

The Colorado College Bluegrass Ensemble "Rocky Mountain Tops" will join KSUT for a live session, Friday 4/22 at 1:30. They'll be performing at the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown this weekend.

The Colorado College Bluegrass Ensemble "Rocky Mountain Tops" will join KSUT for a live session, Friday 4/22 at 1:30 with host Chris Aaland. They'll be performing at the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown this weekend.

This year's ensemble features students:
Anabel Shenk, guitar/vocals
Lena Fleischer, vocals, mandolin/guitar
Helen Lenski, banjo/vocals
Sam Johnson, bass (not pictured)
and director of bluegrass ensembles, Keith Reed

The Colorado College Bluegrass Ensemble is an opportunity for students to study, develop and perform bluegrass music. The group is by audition only and performs yearly at the IBMA student stage in Raleigh NC, The Black Rose Acoustic Society in Colorado Springs, Steve’s Guitars in Carbondale Colorado, and The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown.
