In the late 1970s, the bars in Denver catered almost exclusively to men until Lisa Moore came along.

She started the first disco for women in the Mile High City. It was called The Globe. Today, Moore lives in Mancos.

KSUT’s Tami Graham spoke to her recently about the history of the Globe. It’s a KSUT Conversation for Women’s History Month.
